Our NMUN Family Mourns the Loss of Ambassador Joseph H. Melrose, Jr.
On 8 Nov. 2014, NMUN lost a dear friend and supporter. Whether serving at the UN or overseas, Ambassador Melrose exemplified the American ideals of hard work, modesty, and integrity. He would share his enthusiasm with diplomats such as Susan Rice and Samantha Power who accepted invitations to come and speak to students and would leave inspired by the commitment to global citizenship our delegates display. Thank you to our friend Joe for making a difference in so many lives personally and professionally through NMUN. (Read more)
