International Forum to Discuss and Debate Pressing Global Issues

At NMUN•Canada, delegates discussed global issues and celebrated the sesquicentennial: Happy 150th Birthday Canada – the true north strong and free! The cultural tours and several committee topics focused on issues related to indigenous people and the environment. It recognized not only the majestic conference setting of Banff National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site, but also the recent Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's Final Report. The conference was held in partnership with Concordia University of Edmonton.
