NMUN prepares college students to be better global citizens. Participants propose solutions to global concerns while gaining skills in debate, compromise and conflict resolution. Unfortunately, financial constraints often are a barrier to participation.

To expand the opportunity provided by NMUN participation to under-represented populations, we solicit funding from foundations as well as individuals. We invite you to consider making a personal contribution. For U.S. residents, your donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution. The NCCA/NMUN is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and an official non-governmental organization of the United Nations.

To make a secure on-line donation or learn more about giving opportunities, click on the links to the right.

Gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of U.S. law. U.S. Government employees may also donate through the Combined Federal Campaign Code 11538.

"We never return from the New York conference the same people. My students learn to face and overcome challenges, to respect the viewpoints of rivals, to separate the person from the problem, to face disappointment with the determination to do better the next time and to experience the joy and exhilaration of achievement. Each student is, therefore, changed, having learned more about himself, gained confidence from some endeavors and discovered previously unrecognized potential. Most students have stated that it was their most valuable educational college experience."

- Prof. Jeanne Kates,
2005 Faculty Advisor,
Florida International University, US

Imagine how

National Model United Nations is the world’s largest college-level conference of its kind. We bring together 4,000 students from across the globe to address a wide range of contemporary international issues. Participants leave with the insights needed to become better global citizens and the next generation of international leaders. Students develop an appreciation of differing viewpoints, the frustration of negotiation, the rewards of cooperation, and a broader view of the human side of international relations and diplomacy.
