CONFERENCE DETAILS: NMUN brings more than 4,000 delegates from five continents to New York City annually. This conference, the world's largest, college-level Model United Nations includes more than 20 committees as well as a Security Council for unaffiliated delegates.
LOCATION: One of the main attractions of the NMUN Conference is its New York City location with UN Headquarters, the lights of Broadway, and some of the best museums and shopping in the world.

Ma nh of the individual committees are directed by either graduate students or professionals who hold at least a BA/BS in their field. The Conference Secretariat works year-round to ensure the most exciting, realistic, and rewarding educational simulation possible.
RESOURCES: Our locations and unique status with the UN allow delegations to request a briefing by a representative from the permanent mission to the UN of their assigned country. Individual student delegations arrange their own briefings.

CONFERENCE DETAILS: NMUN•China will be held in partnership with Northwestern Polytechnical University which celebrates its 75th anniversary in Xi'an, China this year. China also hosts the 2008 Olympics in August. This ground-breaking conference will include more than 200 student participants from around the world and provides a unique opportunity for college students to experience NMUN abroad. The conference will be held in English and will be directed by expert NMUN staff.
LOCATION: Ancient Xi'an, the capital city for 13 dynasties, has several UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites including the Terra Cotta Warrior Army. The Xi'an area with a population of over 8 million is located in northwest China and attracts millions of visitors from all over the world.

SITE: Osgood Center for International Study, John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, Washington, DC
CONFERENCE DETAILS: NMUN•DC will host a maximum of 480 delegates. The conference focus will include six committees as well as a Security Council for unaffiliated delegates. NMUN•DC is developmental – focusing on teaching new delegates. A modified version of New York rules will be enforced and all Directors and Assistant Directors will be NMUN-trained. This is excellent preparation for NMUN•NY.
LOCATION: NCCA, in partnership with the Osgood Center for International Studies, will hold NMUN•DC at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Washington, DC offers access to renowned museums, monuments, and the opportunity for delegates to meet with Embassy and State officials.
